Laminated Glass

Laminated Glass

Laminated glass is a type of safety glass that holds together when shattered, in the event of breakage, the glass is held together by an interlayer.

When a balustrade is being used for fall protection, laminated glass is required when a handrail is not used, in the event of glass breakage the laminated glass will remain in position and act as a barrier.

11.52 mm laminated glass is used for our semi -frameless balustrades

21.52 mm laminated glass is used for our "onlevel" frameless glass balustrades, when a handrail is not required.
